<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a character input screen to be shared between input of a character string into a balloon and other uses with respect to input technologies of character information in an image processor capable of displaying and editing graphics. <P>SOLUTION: A format of a character input screen, shown in Figure 58, for input of a save file name is identical to that for input of a sentence of words into a frame of words, so that it is unnecessary to constitute both character input screens in different data formats. In this case, contents of an explanatory balloon are different between both of them.
