PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of obtaining a brilliant, splendid color image by stacking a toner image whose color is other than gold in the same position as a golden toner image on an intermediate transfer member in the color image forming apparatus using the intermediate transfer member, and to provide an image and an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus in which a developed total color toner image of a golden toner 3 and a toner 5 whose color is other than gold on a photoreceptor in the image forming apparatus which allows formation of images including a golden image by electrophotography is stacked on an intermediate transfer member, transferred onto an image bearing member 4 and fixed to form an image, a golden toner image which is an image formed of the golden toner is stacked on the intermediate transfer member and then a toner image formed of at least one color toner other than the golden toner is stacked on the golden toner image.
