PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light-shielding properties, by increasing overlap of light shielding vanes in a standby state, even with few the light-intercepting vanes. SOLUTION: Two arms 4 and 6 which are turnably supported constitute a parallel link, by being connected to the plurality of light-shielding vanes 31 to 34 including a slit forming vane 31. By the turning of the two arms, the plurality of light-shielding vanes run between a spread position, in which the light-shielding vanes block an aperture 1a and an overlapping position where the aperture 1a is uncovered. In order to reduce the bounding of the light-shielding vanes caused, when the running of the light-shielding vanes is finished, the shutter device has a cushioning member 14 that is disposed in contact with the light-shielding vanes at the position where the running of them is finished. The light-shielding vane 31, whose running distance is the longest and one or more other light-shielding vanes 32 and 33 are set in width, in the running direction so that their opposite end faces on the shutter aperture side in the overlapping position are closest to each another, when they are bounding, after their contact with the cushioning member rather than when they are in contact with the cushioning member.
