PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flow meter improved in precision of measurement in the state of the disturbed flow speed distribution of measuring fluid and widened in the measurement range to a large flow rate. SOLUTION: By selectively switching an ultrasonic sensor from among the ultrasonic sensors 21-24 as a transmission sensor, the two-line flow rate measurement environment consists of one transmission sensor and two reception sensors are formed by four kinds (i.e. by the number of the ultrasonic sensors). The measurement range is widened to the large flow rate while inhibiting the number of the ultrasonic sensors from increasing, and the multiline flow rate measurement is realized.
