PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for releasing a molding flask in a sand mold with the molding flask in which molten metal is poured, with which occurrence of hitting mark, crack, strain on an as-cast material, that is, a product can be prevented. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for releasing the flask in the sand mold with the flask in which the molten metal is poured, with which after separating an upper flask while leaving the product in a lower mold with a lower molding flask from the upper/lower molds with the upper/lower molding flasks in which the molten metal is poured after matching the molds, the product and the lower mold are taken out from the lower mold with the lower flask where the product is left, from the upper part toward the lower part, it is provided with a punch-head arranged at the upper part of the lower mold with the lower flask where the product is left and a punch-head elevating and lowering means for elevating/lowering the punch-head, and a pushing-out member which is higher than the height of the upper flask, is fitted to the lower end periphery of the punch-head.
