PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus surely removing attached matter like cutting powder or dust from a work dipped in washing water, without depending on shapes of works. SOLUTION: This washing apparatus removing attached matter like cutting powder or dust from the work W by dipping the work W in washing water 1, is provided with: a work supporting means 3 supporting the work W in the washing water 1; an ultrasonic wave generating means 4 generating bubbles by ultrasonic wave; and a jet water stream discharge means 5 discharging high pressure washing water 1a containing bubbles by mixing air thereinto toward the work W. By making bubbles generated by the ultrasonic wave generating means 4 collide with bubbles contained in the high pressure washing water 1a discharged by the jet water stream discharge means 5, impact force occurring at collapsing of the bubbles and water pressure of the high pressure washing water 1a are used as washing force.
