PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hydrogen, with which a marine waste is used as a medium for a hydrogen producing bacterium and which reduces a cost. SOLUTION: A marine waste as a substitute medium is fed to a biomass and the mixture of the marine waste fed to the biomass is fermented with a hydrogen producing bacterium containing at least one of Clostridium beijerinkii AM21B strain, Clostridium sp. No.2 strain and Clostridium sp. X53 strain to produce hydrogen and the produced hydrogen is recovered. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
