A lamp type LED is provided to obtain high luminance and low power effects by mounting a power chip at a lamp type package. An electrode(41) is disposed at one side and supplies a power source. A power chip(42) are connected to the electrode through two electric wire and is mounted on a lead frame of a center portion. The lead frame is formed of copper to discharge heat of a power LED. The power LED has a size greater than 5 mm. The power chip has a size greater than 20 mil. A B electrode(43) is disposed at another side of the power chip and supplies a power source. The B electrode is connected to the power chip through two electric wires. A zener diode(44) is mounted to prevent a static electricity.
