摘要

A vacuum cleaner is provided to attach and detach a dust collecting unit easily by spearing the dust collecting unit from a cleaner body using one hand, and to minimize the area of a fixing release unit by separately forming the fixing release unit. A vacuum cleaner includes a dust collecting unit(200) detachably mounted in a dust collecting unit installation part of a cleaner body to separate and collect foreign matters from air, a dust collecting unit handle installed at a side of the dust collecting unit, a fixing unit for fastening the dust collecting unit in the cleaner body, and a fixing release unit formed in the dust collecting unit handle and pressed in separating the dust collecting unit to release the dust collecting unit by the fixing unit. The fixing unit has an L-shaped hook body turned by the fixing release unit and provided with a bent portion turned and connected to an end of the dust collecting unit handle, a fitting projection protruded in the hook body and fitted to the dust collecting unit installation part, and an elastic member for returning the hook body to the dust collecting unit fixing position.
