An audio random playing method is provided to search and confirm a play flag, thereby speedily selecting and reproducing the non-play audio music. When an audio random play mode is set according to the user's request(S30), a microprocessor selects and reproduces an arbitrary audio music recorded in an optical disc(S31). The microprocessor sets a play flag additionally allocated to the navigation information for reproducing the audio music as 1(S32). When the audio music reproduction is finished(S33), the microprocessor randomly selects an arbitrary music and confirms whether the music is the previously reproduced music. When the reproduction flag value is 1, the microprocessor discriminates that the music is the previously reproduced music and randomly selects an arbitrary music.
