<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection box in which the rigidity of a member such as a box body provided with a recess can be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connection box 1 comprises a box body 2, a side cover 4, and an opening regulating section 30. The box body 2 is provided with a groove 14. The opening regulating section 30 is provided with an ingress protrusion 32 and a receiving groove 33. The ingress protrusion 32 is provided with a portion 34 extending from a side cover 4 along an arrow J, and a second portion 35 extending from the portion 34 along a direction intersecting the arrow J perpendicularly. The receiving groove 33 is provided with a groove 36 extending from the inner surface 14a of the groove 14 along the arrow J, and a second groove 37 extending from the groove 36 along a direction intersecting the arrow J perpendicularly. The extending portion 34 intrudes into the recess 36, the second extending portion 35 intrudes into the second recess 37 and the ingress protrusion 32 intrudes into the receiving groove 33.
