<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a cooling means capable of avoiding disadvantage such as noise, liquid spill or the lowering of energy saving performance as an image forming apparatus equipped with a cooling object. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 has the cooling means including a heat accumulation member 4 having melting temperature equal to or under the temperature in the temperature rise of the cooling object member 2 such as a scanner lamp and a developing device, and heat transportation means 3, 5a and 5b thermally connecting the cooling object member and the heat accumulation member (for example, having a freezing point temperature equal to or above room temperature). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
