<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input sentences, characters and symbols and to instruct coordinates by adding keyboard functions and mouse functions to a remote controller for a television set. <P>SOLUTION: This input device has the keyboard function with which a viewer can input the sentences, characters, symbols, etc. on a screen like a keyboard for a personal computer in a two-way broadcast, and the mouse function of moving the cursor (coordinate instructions) on the screen.
