<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of appropriately setting completion timing of regenerating operation of a filter, thereby securely regenerating the filter, and reducing time and energy necessary for regeneration of the filter. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas emission control device for the internal combustion engine is provided with the filter 11 provided in an exhaust system 5; regenerating operation execution means 2, 6 performing regenerating operation to regenerate the filter 11 by burning particulates accumulated on the filter 11; a differential pressure sensor 22 detecting differential pressure DP in the exhaust system 5 between upstream and downstream sides of the filter 11; a differential pressure change amount calculating means 2 calculating change amount ΔDPC of the detected differential pressure DP in the exhaust system 5; and regenerating operation completion means 2, 6 completing regenerating operation when such a state that the calculated change amount ΔDPC of the detected differential pressure DP is below a predetermined threshold value DPCLMT is continued for predetermined time TLMT, during execution of regenerating operation of the filter 11 by the regenerating operation execution means 2, 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
