<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information terminal equipment that is equipped with a touch panel using an optical sensor, has high mechanical strength and a simple constitution, and is capable of accurately detecting an input position. <P>SOLUTION: The information terminal equipment is provided with the touch panel having the optical sensor, a light guide plate with a translucent material, a light emitting diode provided to the side face of the light guide plate, and a lens sheet provided closer to the light guide plate than the light emitting diode.
