<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method capable of more quickly correcting an automatic adjustment device with less processing. <P>SOLUTION: In the correction method of the automatic adjustment device 18 for automatically adjusting the angle position of the headlight 13 of the automobile based on attitude of a body 12 of the automobile 10, the automatic adjustment device is provided with at least one actuator 20 for turning the headlight; at least one sensor 22 for generating an attitude signal indicating momentary measurement attitude of the automobile; and an electronic control unit 24 for controlling the actuator based on the attitude signal. In the correction method, a step for compensating an error of the measurement attitude and actual attitude in a longitudinal direction of the body 12 of the automobile mechanically corrects an actual angle position of the headlight corresponding to the measurement attitude and makes it coincident with an ideal angle position corresponding to the actual reference attitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
