PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate the number of applications continuously and practically utilized by a user after downloading. SOLUTION: An application retrieval method comprises a first receiving step (S02) for receiving a retrieval request from a terminal; an extraction step for reading out a data table including records which connects terminal classes, an identifier of contents, and an evaluated value by using an application identifier as a key, and extracting records including an identifier of the terminal classes included in the retrieval request; a preparing step (S03) for preparing a list including an application identifier; a transmitting step (S04) for transmitting the list to the terminal; a second receiving step (S09) for receiving a utilization determination notice including the terminal classes, the application identifier, and an identifier of the contents from the terminal; and an update step (S10) for updating a data table by incrementing evaluated values of the records including the terminal classes, the application identifier, and the identifier of the contents.
