PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a customer with low visual ability to appropriately input data while preventing steal of a personal identification number. SOLUTION: This data input device comprises a data display part (display 11) having a transparent electrode plate 10 on a screen; a communication part (data transmitting and receiving part 23) communicating with a portable data communication device (human body communication device 13) mounted on a human body (right hand 12); and a data acquisition part (main control part 26) acquiring data from the portable data communication device. The communication part communicates with the portable data communication device through the transparent electrode plate of the data display part and the human body when the transparent electrode plate of the data display part is in contact with the human body, and the data acquisition part acquires data from the portable data communication device through the communication part.
