METHOD OF FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating a single substrate liquid crystal display by using inkjet printing and by implementing phase separation before polymerization. SOLUTION: The method of fabricating the liquid crystal display includes: a step to provide a substrate with a first electrode thereon; a step to form a patterned protruding structure on the substrate to generate a plurality of pixel regions; a step to fill each of the pixel region with a liquid crystal layer; a step to fill the liquid crystal layer with a monomer layer; and a step to polymerize the monomer layer into a polymer layer, and to implement phase separation from the liquid crystal layer.
