PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens with a datum clamp face which is hardly influenced by an alignment error and which can demonstrate sufficient optical performance in a state of being attached by using simple positioning operation. SOLUTION: In the lens 2A, the datum clamp face 21 for alignment, which is butted against a face to be contacted of a lens supporting member side when the lens is attached, is arranged at a position approximately coinciding with a position of a flat surface 23 of an incident side. Thereby the lens 2A can suppress variation of an emitting direction of parallel light even when alignment error due to manufacturing error or the like arises in the case of butting the datum clamp face 21 against the face to be contacted of the lens supporting member side to perform alignment.
