PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a texture display device which does not require enormous arithmetic processing upon carrying out texture display. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with: a memory unit 10 which associates and stores a plurality of viewing point positions arranged in a predetermined time-series order, a series of animated image compressed data of an object corresponding to the time-series images from a plurality of viewing point positions, and access points; a viewing point position detecting unit 20 to specify a viewing point position; a coordinates/time converting unit 30 to determine a time corresponding to the position information based on the time-series image from the viewing point position; a time information generating unit 40 to generate time information from the corresponding time to a previous access point time; an image decoding unit 50 to retrieve animated image compressed data corresponding to the time information from the memory unit 10 to decode into an image at the corresponding time; and a display processing unit 70 to display the image decoded according to the time.
