AUTO FOCUS CONTROL APPARATUS FOR CAMERA MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto focus control apparatus for a camera module which permits to miniaturize an auto focus camera module and can also provide an excellent quality video image in a preview state. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a sensor assembly; an infrared filter; a lens housing on which a plurality of permanent magnets mounted on an upper part of the sensor assembly is mounted; and a lens barrel on which a coil mounted into the lens housing and a plurality of focus control lenses are mounted in the direction of an optical axis, and further includes: a lens guide part to guide the lens barrel so that the lens barrel is moved linearly upward and downward in the direction of the optical axis according to electric fields of the coil and the permanent magnets; a lens stopper part for mounting the lens barrel at a predetermined distance from the sensor along the direction of the optical axis in order to secure an initial resolution of the lens; and at least one or more lens elastic means which maintain the distance to secure the initial resolution of the lens and provides elastic force so that the lens barrel can be linearly moved upward and downward.
