PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal having a folding function, the mobile terminal enabling a user to easily switch images to be displayed on a standby screen. SOLUTION: A CPU of a mobile phone executes a program including steps of: (S42) increasing "an open state" occurrence frequency N1 stored in a storage section when "an open state" wherein the folding mechanism is spread is entered (YES at S40); (S46) performing standby image specification processing when "the open state" occurrence frequency N reaches a user specified frequency (YES at S44); (S48) initializing "the open state" frequency N to 0; and (S50) displaying specified images on a main screen and a sub-screen.
