PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smaller capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis with a simple structure along with a lower power consumption. SOLUTION: The capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis comprises an ultrasonic oscillator which transmits or receives ultrasonic pulses for acquiring ultrasonic tomographic images, a built-in power source of the capsule as a voltage supply part for supplying a voltage for driving the ultrasonic oscillator and is made guidable into a celom. The capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis generates an overlapped signal by making a pulse timing signal for driving the ultrasonic oscillator overlapped with a DC voltage of 3 or 4 V from the built-in power source part of the capsule and the generated overlapped signal is directly boosted to almost 150 V to output a drive pulse signal to the ultrasonic oscillator.
