A mouthpiece for reducing air resistance is provided to play a wind instrument easily by decreasing friction resistance of air in the mouthpiece, and to improve quality of the mouthpiece by mastering high technique such as vibrato or subtone. A mouthpiece(10) is installed at an end of a neck of a wind instrument, and a chamber(11) is formed in the mouthpiece and communicated with a hollow of the neck. An insertion groove(13) is formed at an end of the chamber to insert the neck, and the inside of the chamber is integrated with the inside of the hollow of the neck in inserting the neck. The mouthpiece is made of gold, silver, copper, bronze, brass, tin, iron, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, synthetic resin or glass. The diameter of the inside of the chamber is 17 +- 9 mm. The inside of the chamber is integrated with the inside of the neck to remove vortex or friction resistance of air. |
