ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR AND VENTILATOR COMPOSING SAME

An electric dust collector and a ventilator having the same are provided to effectively remove the dust even in fast flow velocity by quickly moving the dust particles to a dust collecting plate by thermo-phoresis. The electric dust collector(40) is composed of a dust collecting plate collecting the charged dust; a correspondent plate facing the dust collecting plate and forming a predetermined space between the correspondent plate and the dust collecting plate; and a heater(47) connected to the correspondent plate to form a temperature gradient in the space between the correspondent plate and the dust collecting plate by heating the correspondent plate. A cooler(48) is connected to the dust collecting plate to cool down the dust collecting plate.
