Provided are a cathode for fuel cell which can decrease activation overvoltage and sufficiently withstand a long-term driving of the fuel cell, and a fuel cell using the cathode. The cathode for fuel cell comprises a catalyst, and an oxygen-permeable resin represented by formula 1. In the formula 1, each of R1 and R4 is independently selected from alkyl group, fluoroalkyl group, alkylated silyl group, n is an integer of 100-10000. The oxygen-permeable resin has an oxygen permeation factor of 1 x 10-11[cm^3(standard)Àcm/cm^2ÀsÀPa] or more. The oxygen permeation resin is poly(1-trimethylsilylpropyne). The oxygen permeation resin has an initiation temperature of weight loss of 200 deg.C or more by thermogravimetric analysis. Amount of the oxygen-permeable resin is 0.1-10 wt% with respect of the catalyst. |
