A device and a method for managing medical treatment information are provided to enable a pharmacy to utilize the information for a prescription in case of need by storing the information for the prescription issued from a hospital. A database(131) stores patient, hospital, prescription, and medical charge information inputted from a hospital terminal(110), and the patient, pharmacy, and medicine charge information inputted from a pharmacy terminal(150). The first module(133) reads the patient, hospital, and prescription information from the database based on the patient information inputted from the pharmacy terminal, and transmits the read information to the pharmacy terminal. The second module(135) transmits medical inquiry information to a patient terminal(170) based on the patient and hospital information inputted from the hospital terminal, receives medical treatment confirmation information inputted from the patient terminal by responding to the medical inquiry information, and transmits the received information to the database. |
