PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a player to change a presentation display part of a game machine to a desired device and to select the display mode of the presentation. SOLUTION: The display device 1 is detachably attached to the game machine with the presentation display part for executing the presentation related to a game. The light of light emitting elements LEDs of the presentation display part of the game machine is received by light receiving elements PD of the display device 1. The light receiving pattern showing which light receiving element receives the light is compared with the lighting pattern in a lighting pattern storing part 14. The presentation data in a presentation storage part 15 are selected based on the result of the comparison, and the presentation is displayed in the display part 13 based on the selected presentation data. For example, if the lighting pattern is A, the presentation D is executed, and if the lighting pattern is B, the presentation E is executed. In this way, the presentation (the lighting pattern) of the game machine can be converted to the presentation stored in the presentation storage part 15.
