摘要 A method of monitoring a torsional vibration damper is provided to increase the torsional rigidity and damping performance of the damper by measuring the rotary angle of the elastically rotary mass body at the calculation stage. A method of monitoring a torsional vibration damper is composed of a step of monitoring the torsional vibration damper having a connection unit(2) attached at a shaft(1) and an elastically rotary mass body(3) connected to the connection unit in a rotary elastic method; a step of outputting the measurement value by measuring/changing the rotary angle of the elastically rotary mass body at a calculation stage(8) in a digital method; a step of considering the change of the angle speed of the connection unit from the rotary angle of the connection unit and the elastically rotary mass body; a step of confirming the relatively torsional angle and the acceleration of the rotary angle of the elastically rotary mass body; and a step of calculating/displaying the torsion rigidity and damping as a characteristic value with the help of the mass moment.
