<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enveloper for forming a material envelope around the battery plate and a device for forming a battery plate group capable of saving non-operating time and expensive labor of a skilled worker. <P>SOLUTION: The enveloper for forming a material envelope around a battery plate comprises an anvil 29, a knife 35 acting on the anvil 29, and a rotatable cutting/folding line forming roller 28 having a folding line forming blade 36 placed in nearly opposite in diameter direction, and cuts and forms a folding line on the material fed through the enveloper. The enveloper, further, comprises a controller which performs positioning of the folding line by changing the rotation speed of the roller 28 within the revolving cycle, and forms a symmetrical envelope around the plate passing through the enveloper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
