<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system and a management terminal that can enhance the security of a network with which a connection needs to be made via a connecting device. <P>SOLUTION: The network system includes the connection device 20 which connects communications equipment to the network, and the management terminal 10 which stores the address of the connecting device 20, which transmits authentication information for authenticating the connection device 20 to the management terminal 10, when an address is to be imparted to the management terminal 10. The management terminal 10 is configured to authenticate the connecting device 20 based upon the authentication information transmitted by the connecting device 20, and to impart the address to the connecting device 20 having sent the authentication information, when authentication is successful. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
