PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily manufacture a high-quality optical fiber bundle with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The end faces of the optical fiber bundle 1 are fusion-spriced by irradiating and heating the end face of the optical fiber bundle 1 with a luminous flux by a lamp 13, integrating the light quantity emitted from the other end of the optical fiber bundle 1 is integrated by a photometric sphere 15 to obtain a fusion curve based on the integrated light quantity, and stopping the lamp 13 at a position raised from the minimum value of the fusion curve.
