A separator for accumulator plates 11, 12 consists of a glass fibre sheet or fabric 13 to which is fixed an insulating grid 14. The grid 14 may consist of a synthetic resin cast or sprayed on the sheet 13. Marginal ribs 15 on the grid surround the edges of the adjacent accumulator plate. The separator may be plane, corrugated or of zig-zag shape to fit between similarly-shaped plates. |
