PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for recording cross-sectional images which is equipped with a probe unit including a probe insertable into inner lumen and connected to a processing unit to produce a series of cross-sectional images from measurement information supplied from the probe unit after the probe unit to take cross-sectional images in the periphery of an inner lumen formed in a body. SOLUTION: In the device for recording cross-sectional images is equipped with a probe unit including the probe insertable into the inner lumen 12 a processing unit to record a series 9 of cross-sectional images from measurement information supplied from the probe unit is connected after the probe unit to take cross-sectional images 10 of the periphery 13, 14 of the lumen formed in a body.
