PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labyrinth seal of a traveling mptor preventing intrusion of earth and sand, and capable of discharging earth and sand that have intruded to the outside. SOLUTION: The labyrinth seal of the travel motor is provided with a fixed casing 10 and a rotary casing 20 relatively rotating around each other, and a seal chamber 43 defined via a seal rings 39 and 40 in inner sides of the fixed casing 10 and the rotary casing 20, labyrinth gaps 31-33 are formed between the fixed casing 10 and the rotary casing 20 facing each other, and intrusion of foreign matter such as earth and sand into the seal chamber 43 is prevented via the labyrinth gaps 31-33. An earth and sand intrusion prevention area 30A is provided, having clearances H1 and T1 of the labyrinth gaps 31 and 32, and an earth and sand discharge area 30B is provided, with clearances H2 and T2 of the labyrinth gaps 31 and 32 respectively larger than the clearances H1 and T1.
