THERMAL PRINTER USING THERMAL PRINTING HEAD

A picture forming apparatus for using a TPH(Thermal Printing Head) is provided to preclude the operating error of the apparatus from occurring due to the accumulation of the phase error by initializing the phase of the rotary cam. A picture forming apparatus for using a TPH(Thermal Printing Head) is composed of a flatten roller(52); a TPH unit(51) pivoted to the direction approached/separated at the flatten roller to face the flatten roller; first elastic members(83) elastically biasing the TPH unit to be pivoted to the direction approached to the flatten roller; a pair of cam levers arranged at both sides of the TPH unit; and a pair of rotary cams contacted with the pair of cam levers to pivot the TPH unit according to the rotary angle.
