A ship with a reinforcing member installed at an outer wall is provided to improve safety of the ship, and to simplify structure of the ship by mounting a horizontal reinforcing member and one or more vertical reinforcing members at the outer wall of the ship. A ship(100) includes a mooring device(102) mounted at decks of a stem and a stern of the ship, chocks(106) fixing a rope(104), a breast dolphin(108) and a reinforcing member installed at an outer wall to restrict damage due to interference with the rope and the outer wall in mooring. The reinforcing member includes a horizontal reinforcing member(110) installed at the outer wall of the ship, formed of a bar and arranged to a deck. The reinforcing member has one or more vertical reinforcing members(112,114) arranged vertically to the deck and spaced from the horizontal reinforcing member to the center of the ship.
