A structure for preventing rupture of a distance detecting sensor for a back warning system is provided to protect the distance detecting sensor by installing a shock absorbing member on a housing of the structure. The structure includes a housing(10) installed on a rear bumper of a vehicle, a distance detecting member(20) inserted into the housing, and a substrate(30) installed in the housing and electrically connected to the distance detecting member. A shock absorbing member(40) has one end fixed to the housing and the other end equipped with the distance detecting member. The shock absorbing member has a first support(41), a second support(42) fixed to the housing, and a resilient member(43) installed between the first and second supports.
