A system and a method for processing images are provided to enable a user to easily edit the images when the user wants to edit and print the desired images, and print multiple image collections to one printing sheet. A selecting module(140) enables the user to select the desired partial image from the image displayed to a display part(120) through an input part(110). A layout arranging module(150) modifies layout of the partial images to make the selected partial images printed to an optimized position in the printing sheet. A control module(170) makes an image forming device(200) print the partial images to the printing sheet. A user modification module(160) displays the moved partial image and enables the user to set up an editing option, such as enlargement, reduction, color and position change, and rotation, of the displayed partial image.
