A torque sensor of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to reduce load of the product according to the formation of the inlet and outlet sensing units with the magnet disk and the magnetic resistant element. A torque sensor of a steering system for a vehicle is composed of a housing(10); an inlet shaft(11) arranged in the housing to receive the rotary force of a handle; an inlet sensing unit(20) installed with a first driving gear(21) pivoted at the center of the inlet shaft, a first magnet disk(22) tooth-connected to the first driving gear and installed in the housing to be passively rotated, and a magnetic resistant element(24) sensing the rotation of the first magnet disk; an outlet shaft(12) connected by the inlet shaft and a torsion bar(13) of the center in the housing; an outlet sensing unit(30) installed with a second driving gear(31) pivoted at the center of the outlet shaft, a second magnet disk(32) connected to the second driving gear and installed in the housing to be passively rotated, and a magnetic resistant element(34) sensing the rotation of the second magnet disk.
