<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a waterproof sealing property of a grommet inserted and locked to insertion holes provided and opened in two vehicle panels disposed in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The grommet is provided with: a minor diameter cylinder 11 for tightly inserting a wire harness W; a diameter expanding cylinder 12 for continuing to one end of the minor diameter cylinder 11; and a major diameter cylinder 13 for continuing to one end of the diameter expanding cylinder 12. A large diameter side tip of the diameter expanding cylinder 12 is a first vehicle body lock 14. The major diameter cylinder 13 continues to an inner circumference of the first vehicle body lock 14. A second vehicle body lock 15 protrudes toward an outer circumference of an end face 13a of the major diameter cylinder 13. Vehicle body locking faces 16, 17 of the first and second vehicle body locks 14, 15 face each other. Seal lips 18, 19 are provided on and protrude from the vehicle body locking faces 16, 17, and are located on the same line parallel to an axial line of the major diameter cylinder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
