PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite formed by subjecting an aluminum alloy and a thermoplastic resin containing a polyamide resin as a major constituent, to injection, to thereby strongly bind them, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A shaped article 1 composed of an aluminum alloy and processed into a specified shape is immersed in a water solution containing one or more selected from the group consisting of ammonia, hydrazine and a water-soluble amine compound, and washed and dried, and then inserted to an injection mold. A thermoplastic resin composition 2 containing the polyamide resin as major constituent is injected into the injection mold and unified with the shaped article 1 composed of aluminum alloy so as to manufacture the composite 4. Preferably, the shaped article 1 composed of aluminum alloy is immersed in aqueous base and/or aqueous acid before it is immersed in the water solution of the water soluble amine compound.
