PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy conversion of a setting program used for setting of a parameter or the like of equipment into multiple languages to reduce cost and a time necessary for development thereof. SOLUTION: This setting program 4 comprises an execution program 4a and a text file 4b. The execution program 4a makes a personal computer 2 function as a setting device to a temperature controller 1, and its screen display is performed on the basis of character information read from the text file 4b.
