A fuel level measuring device of a vehicle is provided to prevent wrong operation of a fuel gauge, and to drive safely and conveniently by detecting variable resistance at both sides of a resistor body and accurately measuring the fuel amount in a fuel tank regardless of travel condition. A fuel level measuring device of a vehicle includes first and second variable resistance plates(10,20) installed at both sides of a resistor body(2) mounted in a fuel tank(1), a first contact plate(30) turned and hinge-combined with the resistor body and contacted to the first variable resistance plate, a second contact plate(40) turned and hinge-combined with the resistor body, contacted to the second variable resistance plate and connected to the first contact plate, a float arm(50) fixed in the first and second contact plates, and a float(60) formed at an end of the float arm and lifted up and down according to the level of fuel stored in the fuel tank. The first and second variable resistance plates are formed of ceramic resistances.
