A culture medium is provided to promote cell culture using a low power light source, and provide constant environment required for cell culturing, thereby significantly shortening the study period required for culturing. The culture medium comprises: a plurality of culture modules which has a plurality of luminous elements with LED or laser diode where a low power light source is provided to promote cell culture; a luminous element driving portion(2) which respectively drives each of the culture modules to independently control the brightness of the luminous elements; a display portion(3) which displays various information required for experiments; a key input portion(4) which enters and selects information required for system operation to select current time, timer, light intensity, and luminous element driving method selection; a controller portion(5) which operates data required for the system operation according to the information entered or selected at the key input portion to control the luminous element driving portion and display portion, thereby setting the time, timer, light intensity and luminous element driving method; and a power supplying portion(6) for supplying power to each of the portions.
