PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a bicycle or automobile is hard to visually recognize him/her when a senior person walks and apts to bring about a danger, and that an environment with few people, e.g. at night, makes helping him/her difficult when a user stumbles on the ground. SOLUTION: The motion of the user is detected by a motion sensor in a walking stick, a light emitting diode incorporated in the walking stick is automatically lit by a microcomputer program for improved visual recognition. If the user falls on the ground, the motion sensor in the walking stick detects the falling, and the microcomputer program determines to automatically light the light emitting diode and sound a buzzer so as to alert the surroundings.
