The part has two wings (2, 3) connected by a central part (4). The central part comprises an adhering unit (5) that constitutes a skid resistant surface when the laths are assembled with each other by the part. The unit (5) is constituted by reliefs (8) that are spaced by a distance of 2 to 6 cm, where the reliefs have a height between 0.1 and 0.5 cm. The reliefs are constituted of holes distributed along an upper surface of the part. The dimension of the part is chosen such that the reliefs provided on the part (4) are situated above a plane formed by an upper surface of the laths. An independent claim is also included for a flooring comprising laths assembled with each other by a connection part.
