An image forming device and an executing job storing method thereof are provided to perform a job by presenting a substitute in case that a remaining memory size is insufficient after calculating the expected memory size of the currently executing job. A controller(160) calculates the size of executing job data as a result of the executing job and makes the job executed in case that the remained size of an external memory is bigger than the size of the executing job. In the case that the remaining size of the external memory(200) is smaller than the size of the executing job, the controller presents more than one substitute to execute the job. A memory(120) stores the data size according to the executing job.
