A method and a device for providing and using predicted information about traffic condition are provided to let drivers of vehicles reach the destination within a short time by using the traffic information of the predicted road and to effectively use road resources by properly dispersing traffic. A method for providing and using predicted information about traffic condition includes a first step of receiving one road section selected from the road displayed on a screen by a user, and a second step of outputting the present and previous traffic information and the predicted traffic information about the selected road section. In the second step, the present and previous traffic information and the predicted traffic information are displayed on the screen as a graph.
